Dear Nishta,
Happy Birthday!
Hey Nishta.
Since its a blog, I'm taking the liberty to write a longer Birthday Message, like the one's we had in (local)school for National, Total Defence and Racial Harmony Day. Pardon the cheekiness.
Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen.
So, today Nishta celebrates her Birthday. We all would like congratulate her on this special occasion. We also admire her discipline in faithfully remembering to celebrate it for the past fifteen years without fail, Nishta, we hope to be able to emulate your example. It is very interesting to see this day against a canvas of world events and see how you fit it. Chanel Iman (a supermodel) was born in 1989, she looks a bit dorky but that's not relevant. Magnus Carlsen, Norwegian Chess Player, was born a year later. We here, think you have the cuteness of a supermodel (not Chanel, that was just an example =D ) and the brains of a chess player. We shall hope to see your brawns this evening.
It is also important to note that 300 cities around the world choose today, your birthday to commemorate Cities for Life Day were they take the stand against the Death Penalty. Barbados, like you celebrates its Independence day. And those events, too have a lot of relevance to you. Today you celebrate the victory of Life. Your Independance, many countries give most adult privileges to 16 year olds. You are in period of your life to make loads of mistakes to learn from, explore, have fun, challenge yourself and grow. Make most of it. There are many things I feel like telling you but perhaps it might be better if you learnt them from experience rather then from someone telling you.
Once again, Happy Birthday!
